Located in southwest Ontario County, Canadice Lake is located 30 miles south of Rochester. It is the smallest of the Finger Lakes.
Canadice is a favorite place for nature lovers since there is no development permitted along the shoreline. The lake has been used as a water reservoir for the City of Rochester since 1876. The untouched shores and forests are an excellent habitat for bald eagles and other water birds.
Canadice Lake is located among the eastern group of lakes, in Ontario County, between Hemlock and Honeoye Lakes. It covers only 649 acres. Read more about Canadice Lake here.
